Is your name a winner? Win a personalised canvas or print worth up to £95…

typeselfie-headerWe love our new personalised canvasses and personalised prints so much that we want to give one away! To celebrate their launch, one lucky winner will receive their name as a unique design on a canvas or print, in the size of their choice, we’ll even throw in a custom made mount and frame if you like!

So what do you have to do? In my last blog post – Let’s get personal with personalised artwork – I wrote about how everyone loves to see their name on display and will make it out of anything. Scrabble tiles, fridge magnets, alphabetti spaghetti or even writing it on your pencil case – there’s hundreds of way you can create your name. It’s like a typographical version of a selfie or a typeselfie as I’ve now named it! So that’s all you have to do – take a #typeselfie!

Just take a photo that features your name, put it on Instagram or Twitter, mentioning @NorthernLetters and not forgetting the hashtag that nobody’s talking about just yet – #typeselfie. Closing date for entries is Tuesday 26th August 2014 and you can enter as many different photos as you like to increase your chances! There’s no rules beyond that so be as creative as you like, just don’t be in the photo, it’s not that kind of selfie!

We’ll pick a shortlist of the best then put them to a public vote, so be ready to campaign for your #typeselfie and you could win an original piece of art that’s guaranteed to be unique to you!

Spell your name out with newspaper or magazine cuttings, scribble it on a napkin, find a street name that matches yours and take a photo of that, the possibilities are endless. There’s a few ideas there but, to quote Neil Buchanan of Art Attack fame (ask your parents, kids), “Try it yourself!”

Now get out there and take yourself a #typeselfie…

Small Print Rules and stuff: Photos must be your own original work and posted on either Instagram or Twitter with captions that mention @NorthernLetters and #typeselfie or we won’t see them. Entries must be posted by 11.59pm on Tuesday 26th August 2014. Northern Letters reserves the right to use any entries for publicity purposes.
